A striking cut flower with deep burgundy buds that open to smoky mauve and blush umbels. Dara adds drama, height, and a soft, lacy texture to bouquets and garden beds. A hardy annual, excellent for cutting, and a favorite of pollinators.
I collect seeds from only the purple flowers, since I do have white queen anne's lace growing wild, some of the seeds are likely to turn out white.
Planting Instructions:
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall, or start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Seedlings can be planted out before last frost. Lightly cover seed, about ¼". Full sun with well-drained soil. Keep evenly moist to establish. Germinates in 10–21 days. Plants reach 30–40 inches tall.
